Luxury Travel Advisor | Four Seasons, Aman & Rosewood Specialist

Why Work With a Luxury Travel Advisor?

Have you ever checked into a hotel and found a bottle of champagne waiting in your room — even though you didn’t ask for one? That’s what booking through the right advisor feels like. It’s not magic; it’s relationships, insider knowledge, and access to programmes that aren’t available when you book direct.

I’m Steve, a London-based independent luxury travel advisor. I’ve visited over 57 countries, stayed in properties from Bali to Bangkok to the Scottish Highlands, and I specialise in creating travel experiences for people who care deeply about where they stay and how it all comes together.

My hotel booking service costs you nothing extra. I earn a commission from the hotels and suppliers I work with — which means my job is to look after you, not to upsell you. For more involved itinerary planning and end-to-end trip support, we’ll talk through what’s right for your trip during your free initial consultation.

What You Get When You Book Through Me

Planning a trip to somewhere you’ve never been takes time — time most people don’t have. You can spend hours cross-referencing reviews, comparing room categories, and guessing which hotel actually delivers on its promises. Or you can ask me.

Here’s what I bring to every booking:

Complimentary perks at the world’s finest hotels. As a preferred partner with Four Seasons, Rosewood, Hyatt, and others, I can unlock benefits that simply aren’t available when you book direct or through a standard OTA. Think daily breakfast for two, a complimentary room upgrade (subject to availability), early check-in, late checkout, and a hotel credit to spend however you like. These are consistent, programme-level benefits — not the occasional lucky upgrade.

Access to exclusive partner programmes. I’m a member of Virtuoso, one of the world’s leading luxury travel networks, as well as preferred partner programmes including Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Rosewood Elite, and Hyatt Privé. These aren’t marketing badges — they translate into tangible benefits on every booking I make for you.

Honest, first-hand knowledge. I’ve personally stayed at many of the properties I recommend. You’ll find my detailed reviews throughout this site. When I tell you a particular suite is worth the upgrade, or that a certain hotel’s breakfast is a reason in itself to stay, it’s because I’ve been there.

Bespoke itinerary planning. Whether you have a destination in mind or just a feeling — “somewhere warm, quietly luxurious, not too far” — I’ll put together a personalised itinerary with curated hotel recommendations, routing advice, and all the details sorted. You tell me what matters to you; I handle everything else.

Transparent, client-first pricing. Hotel bookings through my preferred partner programmes come at no extra cost to you — you pay the same rate you’d find direct, and receive additional perks on top. For bespoke itinerary planning and ongoing trip support, fees are discussed during our initial consultation, where we’ll work out the level of involvement that makes sense for your trip. Either way, my role is simple: I’m your advocate before you travel, while you’re away, and when you get home.

The Kinds of Trips I Plan

Tailored Itineraries

Every trip is different, but here’s a sense of what I’ve been asked to create recently:

A milestone birthday for a group of close friends travelling through Thailand and Cambodia, combining boutique luxury with genuine local experiences. A round-the-world wedding anniversary trip with carefully chosen stops in Singapore, Seoul, and a private island resort in the Maldives. A month-long exploration of South-East Asia for a couple who wanted to slow down, stay beautifully, and feel like they were discovering somewhere new rather than following a script. A winter Nordic adventure for a family chasing northern lights, husky sledding, and Michelin-star dinners in the snow.

Whatever you’re celebrating — or simply wherever curiosity is pulling you — I’d love to help you put it together.

Partner Programmes and Preferred Rates

Being part of the right networks makes a tangible difference to your stay. Here’s a summary of the programmes I work with and what they mean for you:

Four Seasons Preferred Partner — daily breakfast for two, a room upgrade on arrival, USD 100 hotel credit, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Available at Four Seasons properties worldwide.

Rosewood Elite — daily breakfast for two, a room upgrade on arrival, USD 100 food and beverage credit, early check-in and late checkout. Available at Rosewood hotels globally.

Hyatt Privé — daily breakfast for two, a room upgrade on arrival, USD 100 hotel credit, and additional Hyatt benefits. Available at participating Park Hyatt, Andaz, Grand Hyatt, and Alila properties.

Virtuoso — access to a curated network of the world’s finest hotels, cruise lines, and travel experiences, with exclusive benefits and preferred rates.

These benefits are on top of any loyalty programme points you already earn. You don’t have to choose between perks and points.

How It Works

Getting started is straightforward. There’s no lengthy form to fill in and no obligation.

Step 1 — Tell me about your trip. Drop me a message with the basics: where you’re thinking of going, when, how many people, and anything that matters to you. It could be a specific hotel you’ve had your eye on, or simply a wish to go somewhere extraordinary.

Step 2 — I put together your options. I’ll come back to you with tailored hotel recommendations, a suggested itinerary if you’d like one, and an honest view on what’s worth it and what isn’t.

Step 3 — I handle the booking. Once you’re happy, I take care of everything — reservations, special requests, any pre-trip logistics you’d like me to manage. Your preferred partner perks are applied automatically.

Step 4 — You travel. You arrive knowing the hotel is expecting you, your preferences are noted, and there’s a bottle of something cold waiting in the room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does using a travel advisor cost more? Hotel bookings through my preferred partner programmes are complimentary — you pay exactly what you’d pay direct, and receive added perks on top. For bespoke itinerary planning and dedicated trip support, a fee may apply depending on the scope and complexity of what you need. We’ll discuss this openly during your initial consultation, with no obligation.

Can you book hotels I’ve already found myself? Absolutely. If you’ve spotted a hotel you love, get in touch and I’ll check whether it’s part of a programme I can book through. If it is, I can add the perks. If it isn’t, I’ll be honest with you.

Do you only book hotels? Hotels are my speciality, but I can assist with the full picture — including flights in premium cabins, transfers, and multi-destination itineraries.

Which destinations do you specialise in? My deepest knowledge is in Asia (particularly South-East Asia, Japan, and South Korea) and Europe (with particular expertise in the UK, the Mediterranean, and Scandinavia). That said, I’ve visited over 57 countries and plan trips worldwide.

How far in advance should I get in touch? The earlier the better for complex itineraries or peak-season travel. That said, I’m often able to help with shorter lead times — don’t hesitate to reach out even if your trip is coming up soon.
